HEY, I'M ABIGAYLE!

I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, and I am a recent graduate from the graphic design program at Louisiana State University. I now work as the Creative Services Coordinator for Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar, and love every second of it.

I guess you could say my design career started when I was five and made “art” (sticks and mud), and then proceeded to curate my own private show in the front yard. Not only did I make my whole family attend, I also made them buy everything. I’d like to think my design style now is a little more sophisticated… To me, good design is not just about the final product, it’s about the whole conceptual process behind the idea, it’s about going above and beyond the project or the client's needs, and finally it’s about putting in the effort to make it happen. I am a firm believer that a strong work ethic goes a long way, and challenging yourself can only make you better. Other things I believe in include but are not limited to: the healing power of dark chocolate, authentic people, wearing all black, Chinese food, and of course, free beer.
